IPE Airmen reintegrate, reissue gear
Airmen assigned to the 23d Logistics Readiness Squadron Material Management Flight individual protective equipment (IPE) section validate asset locations to verify shelf life and ensure the assets stored in each bin match their inventory. These Airmen work swing shifts from 4:30 to 11 p.m. to facilitate the reintegration of assets and prepare gear for future issue. Due to COVID-19 precautions, all returned equipment is kept separate for five days before it is added back into the IPE inventory.
